the search for the perfect dress

I lost it this morning when I took my daughter's temperature and saw, hey, look, it's at 103.9 degrees. For the fifth day in a row! I'm trying hard not to stress, considering the nurse practitioner told me that it's perfectly normal. If she's not better by Friday, however, I'm taking Kathryn back to the doctor. It's horrible to see your kid miserable. I just want her to feel better already.

Thankfully, I got a nice break from my sick kid. I dropped Kathryn off with her Mom-Mom and took the day for myself, picking up some much needed t-shirts at Old Navy. And all on sale! I'm also on the hunt for a dress. Not too fancy, but not too casual. Somewhere in between. Why? Because my mother and I are headed back to the Midwest this May to attend a retirement party for one of her former co-workers and I need to look hot! Heh. I found a fantastic, simple black dress that I love. For $120. Shoot me in the head. It seems like every reasonably priced frock has some loud, obnoxious print on it. And that makes me throw up a little bit in my mouth.

So, tell me, where can I find a cute, simple dress that accentuates my boobs? Anyone?

Sorry, I can't help. Have you ever seen me in a dress? I'll have Shana consult cuz she's the greatest shopper.

I know sometimes online shopping is scary, but check these out:

Overstock.com has some cute stuff like:
http://www.overstock.com/Clothing/Gorgeous-Knot-Front-Knit-Dress/2920598/product.html
or
http://www.overstock.com/Clothing/Max-Cleo-Bluestone-Faux-Wrap-Jersey-Dress/3002675/product.html
and lots more actually...

Target online has some that they don't have in stores:
http://www.target.com/Merona-Solid-Knit-Dress-Black/dp/B0011RWPKE/qid=1205873953/ref=br_1_9/602-0725224-4169430?ie=UTF8&node=1104830&frombrowse=1&pricerange=&index=tgt-mf-mv&field-browse=1104830&rank=-product%5Fsite%5Flaunch%5Fdate&rh=tgt%5F2%3ABlack&page=1
its not totally solid but its not obnoxious either.

Bluefly.com has awesome stuff, but its designer and usually still pricey. However, the clearance can be amazing...

I'll keep looking - let me know if any of these styles appeal to you. :)

I almost forgot one of the best (read cheapest) stores, Forever 21. I got a dress for my dad's wedding for $11.50 that was very boob accentuating ;). This is different but...
http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=FOREVER21&category%5Fname=dresses&product%5Fid=2048063346&Page=all#
but sometimes the cheapies are short... another option is:
http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=FOREVER21&category%5Fname=dresses&product%5Fid=2047444533&Page=all

:) Good luck!
